Maxi Skirt Lovin’ and Trinity Place Video

Check out the above video about my experience shopping at Trinity Place Department Store! I had so much fun checking out their beautiful store! Besides for their adorable clothes, they sell beautiful furniture as well (I’m sitting on one of their beautiful pieces below).

I’m wearing Trinity Place clothes from head to toe:) The maxi skirt in black here, the floral top here, and similar shoes here.

Spicing Up A Navy Lace Dress

I saw this dress in Ann Taylor (and bought it on major sale of course) but it looked like this:
I liked it a lot but wanted to wear this as a work dress and I can’t wear a sheer top like that for work… so I went to Mood Fabrics and bought some neon fabric ($4!) and had it sewn by a tailor. I really like the results and now I don’t have to worry about wearing something underneath in the hot, humid summer.
Hope you all have a fabulous week!

Easy Breezy Summer Dress

I had a really fun day shooting at Trinity Place today. Over the next couple weeks, I’ll show you some more of my favorite looks and I’ve collaborated with Trinity Place to do a giveaway for you guys that I’m really excited about!

I love easy dresses like these for the hot and humid weather that can be work appropriate but still cute and fun. The scallop detailing, color combo, and peter pan collar makes this dress young and fun but the simple silhouette keeps it fresh and clean.

Stripes and Neon Revisited!

I’ve always liked oxfords (well, that’s a lie…they’ve slowly grown on me) but never felt comfortable wearing them because they just didn’t feel like “me.” I always felt like I was pretending to be someone else in them. I’m more of a ballet flats girl if you haven’t noticed. 😉 But I saw these on sale in Anthropologie a few weeks ago and took the plunge into the oxford world. Ha ha, I’m SO not a drama queen, huh? I love these though and I haven’t regretted them! How do you all feel about oxfords? A do or don’t?

Stripes And Neon

I’m seriously not ready for the weekend to be over. But I did get to spend some quality time with my little sister on Sunday so I’m thankful for that! What did you do over the weekend?
