This was one of those dresses that I tried on and knew I had to have. I felt pretty and confident in it and that’s not something that happens all the time. When I tried it on, it was over $350 and I just couldn’t bring myself to buy it….but I found it a couple months later for more than half off and grabbed it (just one left in my size-dontcha love it when that happens??). Well, my daddy paid for it but it was worth every penny and I’m sure he’d agree! 🙂

Pink and cobalt is a color combo I love (here’s my anchored version and my sequin version) and this is my third time combining these colors on the blog! I usually stay away from button down shirts because most of you know how I feel about tucking in my shirt (I feel self conscious) and my (lack of) height makes them look ridiculous and sloppy. But I got smart and started to bring them to tailors to get them cut. I found someone I like that is well priced and cutting the shirts down have made a big difference. Of course when the shirt comes in petite, I don’t have to worry about cutting it, but I got this shirt from Gap on major sale-in 3 colors- and cut them to a better length for my frame.
Do you have a body type that makes it hard to shop for and what do you do about it? And what are your favorite color combos?
Here’s an outfit roundup of my favorite looks from the last couple months! Pictures are by the talented Chani Shmookler-Deutsch, of course. Hope you week is spectacular!
I thought that maybe it would be fun to show some of my favorite links every Friday. What do you all think?
Let’s try it out this week and please let me know what you think!
