Floral Lace Dress and Brighthouse Baubles Giveaway!

I got this dress a while ago and love the fun lacey floral print from…you guessed it, Madewell, of course! 🙂 I still haven’t bought the two dresses I’ve been crushing on but I’m hoping they go on sale really soon because I need them! You know what, I think I’m going to have to make a grown up decision and pick just one because….well, I don’t “need” both. Although “need” is a pretty subjective term. Anyway, be sure to scroll down and enter the giveaway!

Easy Striped Dress

I am obsessed with Madewell dresses (as seen here) and I will be posting another one on Wednesday! 🙂 I also recently may have bought 2 more with another 2 on my wishlist (this one and this one in emerald) ….. a Madewell intervention perhaps?? I seriously need the 2 on my wishlist though!

Favorite Fall Colors: Emerald and Burgundy!

Do you remember the whole “oxblood” craze last year? Come on people, it’s burgundy! I’m also cool with maroon, wine and bordeaux; just no oxblood for me, thank you very much! Loving every single one of these pieces below… Especially the Gigi New York handbag.
I’m also loving pretty shades of green for fall too as well as teal. I can see the faux leather skirt being worn in so many ways! I must get my hands on it! Also, that Madewell dress is amazing on- I tried it on and can’t get it out my head so I might need that too…. What are your favorite colors for fall?

Black and White Dress + Taking Fashion Risks!

If you haven’t noticed, I tend to dress really sweet and girly; I wear a lot of pencil skirts, pretty dresses, and wayyy too many flats! I am trying to step outside of my comfort zone and do something different once in a while. My tulle skirt was my first purchase that moved me out of my comfort zone but the heels I’m wearing below took a lot of getting used to. Why did I get them? Well, they were on sale….and I liked them a lot! But they didn’t feel “me” and they still don’t. They feel edgy and funky, not how I see myself at all. I feel like I’m playing dress-up but you know what, it isn’t a terrible thing. You only live once, right? So why not try something new once in a while?

How do you feel about taking fashion risks or buying things that feel out of your comfort zone? Let me know in the comments!

Lilac Print Maxi Skirt and Mint Green Clutch!

So I want to introduce you to my new best friend; my Gigi New York mint green clutch. I’m obsessed with the color of course, the amazing texture, the fact that they have optional monogramming, and the size. I  have a feeling you’re going to be seeing a lot of this beauty! 🙂 Oh, and bonus: it’s on major sale now- the link is below!

On another, note, I’m also loving this maxi skirt. It does run quite big, but I couldn’t say no to this gorgeous lilac print and the petite sizing helps!
