I’m definitely a handbag and shoe girl with a wish-list way out of my price range! That’s why I love discovering brands like Galian New York who make luxury handbags completely affordable and accessible. I’ve worn Galian before (my lip clutch and turquoise woven clutch) and their latest collection is beautiful. Today I’m featuring the first of three bags from their new collection. This tote is nice and roomy which I love for work or a day out in the city and it comes with detachable shoulder straps. The metallic pewter color is so versatile and it’s just $68!
I am loving how how Phillip captured the vibrant purple shade in these shoes! Sometimes you just don’t know if a photo will turn out the way you had it in mind, but Phil’s photography exceeded my expectations. The color palette looks pretty freakin fabulous, no? 🙂
I actually won this ombre coat from Lafayette 148 and I get so many compliments every time I wear it. It’s definitely way above my usual price point (although it’s on sale at Bloomingdales) so winning something I’d never be able to purchase myself was really exciting. Also, I randomly just saw that it’s called the Shira coat! Say what??? 🙂
In the beginning of the summer I had the opportunity to create my own custom-made dress from Piol (you can see it here). I had such a great outcome the first time so when I was offered the chance to create another Piol dress for the fall/winter, I jumped at the chance. Well, my positive experience the first time was definitely not a fluke because I absolutely love my newest Piol dress! For those of you who haven’t heard of them, Piol is a website that not only customizes the style and cut of the dress according to your measurements, but they also offer a selection of colors and fabrics specific to your skin-tone and coloring. I knew I wanted a red dress after receiving a lot of positive feedback when I wore this one but I wanted one that would be a little more versatile and work for cooler days. Piol gave me this beautiful red shade once I gave them my skin-tone and coloring information. And I was able to create the dream red dress I had in mind. It was so much fun to see the dress I created come to life and it was even prettier than I expected. Of course I chose a dress with longer sleeves for modesty reasons and I know this will be perfect from a day at work to a night out. Yes, my hair is a little… wild. Ha! 🙂 This was the 9th outfit change on the windiest and coldest day of winter so far! I may have cried afterward (na, I’m exaggerating- I just complained a lot) but you can’t tell in the photos so we’re good. 🙂
I’m not going to lie; I was pretty sad when I fell in love with this floral print top only to find out that it was sold out. So when I was scrolling through Cooper & Ella and noticed that it was back in stock (on sale!), I may or may not have done a happy dance. In my heart. Because I don’t dance. But this floral print is amazing as is the organza trim detailing on the neckline and bottom along with the cropped length; just enough crop without being too scandalous for my liking. 🙂 You’ve seen me in Cooper & Ella here and I just found out that this gorgeous line of blouses and tops will soon start selling dresses! I can’t wait!
No, please don’t snow. Although snow would’ve had a nice effect on the photos. AMIRIGHT?! 🙂 But when it does snow, I’m covered with my amazing Khombu boots. They are SO warm and soft inside and they will be perfect for snow days.
