I kept it low key for NYFW 2018 and that’s what I usually do for most fashion weeks to be honest! I go to a few events and shows but I don’t stay out morning to night and I’m not sure that you – my audience – are dying to see that kind of content anyway. If I’m wrong, let me know. 🙂 I also work as a therapist so finding the right balance is important to me. Also, it’s hard to watch the lack of inclusivity and even though brands like Christian Siriano and Chromat are doing incredible things, there is still so much work to be done.
Thamarr stayed with me for the weekend so of course we needed to snap some photos together (check out our first shoot together in March here). It’s so important to have real friends in the industry and I’m grateful to call Thamarr a friend. The blogging world can be uncomfortable and competitive sometimes and that really isn’t the way I like to roll. So I’m glad I found a few good friends in the blogging world who I can connect with- and I think that’s always so helpful to have, regardless of the industry you’re in.

Thamarr got her lavender suit from Eloquii but it seems to be sold out. Shop some cute black and white dresses in the slideshow below.
