Wellllll, a couple months ago I bought my very first pair of jeans – these embellished girlfriend jeans. I love them, but to be honest, I’ve only worn them once because wearing jeans is still so new to me. Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for comfortable, high waisted skinny jeans because I figure they’re a style I can easily pair with dresses and tunics which will make me more likely to wear them. I chose these ankle jeggings because they came in petite and were pretty darn cheap. I really like them although I do wish they were high rise instead of mid rise. But I love that they have a petite length for shorties like me!
I’m excited to style these jeans with tunic dresses throughout spring; I have a look coming up that I can’t wait to share. Yes, this look is totally out of my comfort zone. I mean, when’s the last time you saw me wear sneakers when I wasn’t working out? That’s right, never! 😉 I’m glad I’m trying new things though and the metallic details on the sneakers and girly, blush pink anorak are details that make the look still feel like me.
If you’re looking for new spring pieces, Shopbop is in the middle of their huge end of season sale! You can get up to 25% your order with code EVENT18. I just added a pair of gold metallic sneakers to my cart and you can check out a wholeee bunch more cool statement sneakers in the slideshow at the bottom of the post.
Their bag selection is pretty sweet too and actually, I picked up this Ferragamo Ginny bag during their last sale and I think this is its first debut! I also suggest checking out their selection of straw bags; straw bags are here for a second season and even cuter and more fun than last year! Are you picking up anything from Shopbop‘s end of season sale?
