An easy chambray dress seems to be my uniform these days! My other favorite chambray dress was seen on the blog here. I love the peplum hem and over-sized babydoll silhouette. This is a dress you want to size down in- I personally went down two sizes from my usual size. I think this will be really cute with a cardigan and leggings in another month or two as well. Transitioning to fall can be tricky but layering will be your best friend!
In other news, here’s a little update on my life: I’m starting a new job this week that I’m really excited about and I’ll share more about it soon. I also recently wrote an article in a magazine about society’s obsession with thinness and it was shared quite a few times. It’s led me to some great opportunities including a monthly fashion column in a newspaper and some other cool projects.
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you might know that this has been a rough year for me career wise so I’m really feeling optimistic and positive that things really seem to be picking up and headed in the right direction. Sometimes it’s hard to believe things will get better when you’re going through a hard time. And when you’re feeling down or hopeless it’s hard to believe that things will ever change. So to those of you who’ve supported me and given me words of encouragement (you know who you are), it’s meant so much to me!
