I realize I’m wearing red, white and blue and although it’s not on purpose, it works out well for Labor Day (check out what I wore last Labor Day here)!
I was recently introduced to Julie Lopez shoes  and to be completely honest with you, I was skeptical when I was told that I wouldn’t need to “break these in.” I decided to give them the true test and walked from meeting to meeting across the city. You guys, not one blister at the end of the day! Julie, the creator of the Julie Lopez brand, actually originally worked as a nurse in orthopedics and created the brand with the intention of people being able to wear her shoes for extended periods of time with no pain. These gorgeous ballet flats are not only beautiful and well made but also extremely comfortable. I can’t wait to see her latest collection and check out the amazing loafers I almost got here.

I’m also loving my new Lily Jade bag. Don’t laugh, but it’s actually a diaper bag. No, this is not a hint at anything, I promise! I just really like the big size, the multiple pockets, the crossbody option, and the bright red color. Whether or not you have a baby in your life, I highly recommend this bag either way! 😉
